About Shawn Morrison
Shawn's formula for success in podcasting is as follows: Try to be funny but don't put too much pressure on yourself. Just talking in English is good enough 90% of the time.
When he's not in the studio recording the latest episode of the podcast he's usually swimming in the East River or interrogating homeless men in Tompkins Square park. Unless its cold out, in which case he's inside, curled up by a fireplace reading anything by Martin Buber.
Previous to podcasting, Shawn worked at a recording studio for four years where he learned all this audio business. He made various radio commercials that actually aired on actual radio and, ironically, the last thing he did while he was there was create a podcast. On second thought, that's really not very ironic at all.
